We made a short conversation with Mert Uyanıklar, Sales Engineer of Metkon which is the participant companies of “5th Heat Treatment Symposium” recently held in ITU Süleyman Demirel Congress Center.

MISAD: Can you give some information about Metkon?

Mert Uyanıklar, Sales Engineer of Metkon: Established in 1993, Metkon produces with its staff consisting of over 80 people today. Metkon is a company specialized in its field with more than 15.000 Metallography Device used in 35 countries worldwide.

METKON branded products are exported to 5 continentals and many industrialized companies...

As Metkon, we produce “Sample Making and Test Devices and Consumables” for “Material and Microstructure Analysis” for Quality Control and Research Institutions.

MISAD: What are your thoughts about the symposium?

Mert Uyanıklar, Sales Engineer of Metkon: Symposium is much better in this year. It is improving each year. We give importance in the symposium in terms of bringing the actors of sector together.

We expect it to develop more in the next periods and bring more companies together and attract more visitors.

MISAD: Do you know activities of MISAD?

Mert Uyanıklar, Sales Engineer of Metkon: We heard about MISAD and we think all of these formations are important. We think it will make great contributions to the sector.
