HEAT TREATMENT CONFERENCE HELD IN ISO.

As a proposal made by Mr.Koray Yavuz, the Chairman of the Metal Heat Treatment Industrialists Association (MISAD), a training conference was held in ISO for the Technical High School Teachers. The training was executed by the Science Board Coordinator Mr.Utku Inan. A cooperation protocol has been signed with ISO and Ministry of Education. Our association, who is closely following this protocol, explained the Works that they have done on the opening of heat treatment departments in vocational high schools, the future position of the profession and the compatibility with today's Technologies.

In order to give their support to the Metal Heat Treatment Conference, MISAD Board members, Koray Yavuz, Melih Yüksel, Murat Çelik and Sami İşleker, the Secretary General of the Association attended.

On the other hand, Erdal Bahçıvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Istanbul Chamber of Industry, emphasized the importance of the project.

Bahçıvan listened and noted the demands of the teachers. Bahçıvan also congratulated MISAD President Koray Yavuz for the initiative.
